Microbial Fermentation: Develpment and Scale-up Training Program

This course emphasizes extensive laboratory work and demonstrations in microbial fermentation from bench scale to pilot scale. Laboratory experiments are supported by lectures and discussions on the fundamentals of microbial growth, growth kinetics, strain development, and scale-up strategies. Participants will gain the skills and knowledge to design and optimize fermentation processes in batch and fed-batch cultures.
