Q: I don't have any graphic design skills but I want to replicate the university logo in my Word document. What do I do?

The university logo is not meant to be reproduced with a box (see bad example). To avoid a box around the logo, download the "PNG" file and place that into the document. Please note that the white PNG logo file will appear blank. It actually contains the logo artwork that will appear in the document without a box (transparent). Please see a good example of logo with transparent background.
