Call for Entries: Mountain West State Park Photo Contest; Workshop

Utah State University students, staff and faculty are asked to take out a camera and see if they “have what it takes to be the park’s best photographer” for the Wasatch Mountain State Park Photo Contest.
The contest is open Feb. 15-April 15 and includes the categories of scenery, plants and animals and recreation. Contest winners will receive prizes and their winning photos will be on display at the Visitor Center.
In conjunction with the contest, Wasatch Mountain State Park sponsors a photography workshop Friday, March 8, at 5:30 p.m. The workshop features professional photographer Mike Flaherty. Those interested in the workshop should bring a camera with a fully charged memory card and dress for the weather — portions of the workshop are outdoors.
