2nd Family Impact Seminar related to Families & Mental Health
I would like to invite anyone interested in our department, students and faculty alike to attend our second Family Impact Seminar related to Families and Mental Health. We will hear from University of Utah Medical School Faculty and pediatrician, Dr. Kathy Franchek-Loa to talk about long term effects of family violence on children and Dr. Douglas Goldsmith of the Children's Center in SLC to tie up how these kinds of events impact families and our society and potential policy decisions related to mental health. You will have some time at the end of the seminar to chat with our experts as well as legislators. The Seminar will be held on March 5, 2013 at 5:00 in the State Capitol Building in the Multipurpose room. It's an exciting opportunity to work with your government and get involved.
