Beat the Haze XC Ski Trip

Our first trip is Thursday; we’re doing a night ski trip at Green Canyon. Come and breathe the fresh air of the mountains and get out of the nasty inversion. The cost is free for students and we’re offering a 10% discount on all equipment rentals for the trip. A mandatory pre-trip meeting will be held Wednesday at 5 p.m. in the ORP shop. We’ll talk about what to expect on the trip and do measurements for rental equipment. We will leave the ORP Thursday at 5 p.m. We’ll be starting at the bottom of Green Canyon, and go until we reach the Mt. Naomi Wilderness boarder which is approximately 5 miles from the start. There is a chance of snow Thursday, continuing into the night, so make sure to dress accordingly.
