Wilderness First Responder registration deadline

Ever wondered what you would do in a backcountry emergency, or have wanted to work as a guide? The Wilderness First Responder course (WFR) will prepare you for both. The course will consist of two parts: an online section starting Dec. 15 to Dec. 19, and the in-field training on Jan. 2 to Jan. 6. Cost of the WFR is $525/students, $575/USU-staff, and $625/public. The course requires 80 hours of training–30 online and 50 in the field. The online portion of the WFR will be done through Canvas, and the in-field training will be held at the ORP shop and the Bear Lake Training Center. Register by Dec. 5 at the ORP or through Campus Recreation.
