Celebrate a Festival of Lights at the USU Museum of Anthropology

The Utah State University Museum of Anthropology invites the public to join them and celebrate with a Festivals of Light from around the globe Saturday, Dec. 15.
Learn more about many holiday festivities including: Diwali, Hanukkah, St. Lucia’s Day, Christmas, St. Martin’s Day and Loi Krathong. Guests are invited to get into the holiday spirit and make holiday luminaries with both paper bags and tissue paper.
“What a fun way to start the holiday season,” said Diana Azevedo, USU Museum of Anthropology assistant. “We will be learning about different traditions celebrated at this special time of the year.”
USU students and members of the public are always invited to the museum any time during open hours: M-F 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Funding for Saturday events is provided by a grant from the U.S. Institute of Museum and Library Services. More information about the IMLS is available online (www.imls.gov).
