3

Scholarships

If you have a remaining scholarship from the USU Office of Admissions, it will automatically activate on your return semester. If you received any other scholarships, contact the USU statewide campus, department, or other awarding entity to activate them for your return.

USU offers many nonacademic awards and additional scholarships. These will all have a separate applications and will have different deadlines.

4

Housing

If needed, secure housing in Logan, USU Eastern in Price, or Blanding. If you are interested in living on campus, sign a contract early. On-campus housing fills up quickly and spaces are not guaranteed.

5

Math Placement

If needed, take the ALEKS math placement exam to test into a math or stats course. If it has been over one year since you have taken a math course or the ACT, it is likely that you will need to take a placement exam.

6

Language Placement

Take a language placement exam if you speak another language and want to receive credit for your language skills.
7

Register for Classes

Registration will happen in April for fall semester or November in the spring semester. Visit the Catalog to see your specific registration date and time.

You should meet with your academic advisor before registration happens to determine what classes you need to take.
