Aimee Leaming Wilson - “Be Kind”
Scholarship Endowment

If anyone were to describe Aimee Leaming Wilson it would be that she was an example of true friendship, sincere kindness and healthy life choices.  Aimee approached life with a purely positive attitude and this is the magnet that drew people to her.  When she made friends, and there were many of them, they were friends for life.  Many of these friends and wonderful memories were made while attending Utah State University.  Throughout her life these friends shared their memories of their times together on any occasion that they were able to be reunited.

While in school Aimee held many leadership positions in the organizations in which she was involved.  These include:  Chi Omega sorority, USU Greek Community and the Huntsman School of Business.  Aimee was an exceptional student graduating from the Huntsman School of Business with a degree in marketing.  

Aimee believed in having a plan and executing against that plan – if you needed something done, Aimee was the go-to person on whom you could always depend.  She tackled every project with integrity, hard work, a clear purpose and always with compassion, kindness and warmth. Aimee was loved by her family, friends and colleagues for these traits.

In her corporate career Aimee found her passion in the field of Human Resource Management, where she excelled as an HR Executive at the University of Utah and then at OC Tanner, where she was the Senior Vice President of their People and Great Work Team.  

Aimee lived life to the fullest. She had a passion for running and participated in many marathons. She was quick with a smile and a laugh and treated everyone with respect and kindness.   

We lost Aimee suddenly and much too soon but her legacy of “Be Kind” lives on in any one who had the privilege to know her and we honor her memory and legacy in this Aimee Leaming Wilson -  Be Kind scholarship endowment.
