About This Degree

Use emerging technology to communicate design ideas for built and virtual environments. This one of a kind degree provides access to technical knowledge and technological resources that will enhance in demand skills.

What You Will Learn

With courses ranging from theory of design to 3D representation, students will develop a design foundation and build modeling skills. Students will be introduced to artificial intelligence generative design, the application and ethics of visualization, and digital illustration and modeling.

The DMV Associate degree prepares students to create detailed visual communication models used in construction, video games, film, product design, marketing and more.

  • Freshmen: New freshmen admitted to USU in good standing qualify for admission to this major.
  • Transfer Students: Transfer students from other institutions and students transferring from other USU majors need a 2.5 total GPA for admission to this major.
