College Scholarship Information
Each of the seven colleges at USU awards scholarships to undergraduate and graduate students. Although most of these scholarships are awarded to students who have already attended USU for one or more semesters, a few of them are available to new freshmen who have already decided upon their major area of study. Students applying for these scholarships should apply to the office indicated in the scholarship description or to the college listing the scholarship. Selection criteria include certain majors or colleges, class standing, minimum grade point average, past accomplishments, financial need, or special qualifications established by the donor. Since these scholarships are awarded based on available funding, some will not be awarded until sufficient funds are accumulated in the scholarship endowments.
Information about college scholarships, including the qualifications for receiving each of them, is provided online as a supplement to the printed version of the General Catalog. This information is no longer included in the printed General Catalog.
Scholarship listings are available in seven PDF files (one for each of the seven colleges), which are accessed individually. These files will be updated as changes occur.
