Scott grew up in Hyrum, Utah and has lived in Cache Valley most of his life. He earned his Eagle Scout award and served an LDS mission to Stockholm, Sweden. He studied Electronics at ITT Technical Institute and is currently finishing up a Bachelor of Arts degree in Liberal Arts at Utah State University. Scott loves to spend time with his wife and kids. He enjoys fishing, playing video games, and escaping as often as possible to go play a round of golf with his brother and friends. Scott has been employed at USU for 14 years and with the Advising Center for six years. Scott has served as Graduation Coordinator for the College of Humanities and Social Sciences since 2006.
Scott reviews, approves, and tracks the graduation paperwork on behalf of the dean's office. He advises students of the graduation application process and helps them keep their paperwork on track for graduation. In general, Scott is the students' resource whenever a "dean's signature" is needed.
