When I arrived at Utah State, I was unsure if I would succeed. But I quickly learned it was the perfect place for me. Although my cultural and ethnic background differed from most students and faculty, I never felt out of place. I found my home here at Utah State because the university's accepting and friendly atmosphere."

Grace Graham

Mechanical Engineering
College of Engineering

"Nearly everyone is interested in space as a kid. For me, that curiosity never died. But I didn’t know that working in the aerospace industry was possible until I went to USU."

Alex Lambert

"Utah State University is the lifeblood of this community. I grew up taking walks on campus, playing piano recitals in USU’s concert halls, and cheering on the Aggies at Maverik Stadium and the Dee Glen Smith Spectrum. The energy I felt each time I visited campus made it clear to me that when I grew up, I wanted to be part of the Aggie family."

Lauren Palmer

International Studies
College of Humanities & Social Sciences

"Utah State has given me the opportunity to conduct research and complete internships across the world. I’ve conducted anthropological research in Thailand, participated in Model United Nations in Canada, and worked with small businesses in the Dominican Republic all while I’ve been here at USU."

"I’m a student athlete on the men’s basketball team. I always dreamed of playing college basketball at the highest level, and Utah State has given me, just a regular kid from Moore, Oklahoma, that opportunity."

Aubrey Felty

Theatre Education
Caine College of the Arts

"I came to Utah State because the Theatre Education program is incomparable. I’ve had hands-on experience in local schools, doing classroom observation, assisting teachers, and leading class lessons and discussions."

Meredith Richards

"I visited USU after seeing it ranked as one of the top college towns in the nation. I fell in love with the mountains, the energetic atmosphere, and the Huntsman School of Business."

Quisheima Brown

Wildlife Ecology & Management
S.J. & Jessie E. Quinney College of Natural Resources
Huerfano, New Mexico

"I came to Utah State University because they offered the best program in my field of interest: wildlife ecology. While I am a student at the Logan campus now, I started out at a different Utah State campus, USU Blanding."

Chloe Geddes

Geology
College of Science
Park City, Utah

"People always ask me why I decided to become a geologist. The classic answer is that I like being outside. Utah is an amazing state because there is so much to do outside . . . There are mountain forests here in Northern Utah where you can kayak, go caving, hike, and bike -- but also beautiful desert landscapes to the south full of canyoneering, rock crawling, and more!"

Hayden Erickson

Animal Dairy & Veterinary Sciences
College of Agriculture & Applied Sciences
Rigby, Idaho

"USU began as Utah’s state agricultural college, and our programs are at the leading edge of agricultural technology. For example, we’re one of the only universities to have a completely robotic dairy."
