USU President to Celebrate Success, Outline Future in 2021 State of the University

Utah State University President Noelle E. Cockett will deliver the 2021 State of the University address at 9 a.m. Wednesday, March 31.

Faculty, staff, students and all others in the USU community are encouraged to watch the address via AggieCast, USU’s high-quality livestream system.

During the address, President Cockett will review news from the 2021 legislative session, highlight USU’s achievements over the past year, and discuss what to expect as the university closes the 2020-21 academic year and plans for fall semester 2021.

Viewers will be able to submit questions that will be addressed during a Q&A session at the end of the speech.

President Cockett has served for over four years as USU’s 16th president. She was appointed in October 2016 and began her official tenure in January 2017. She has worked in various capacities at USU since 1990, when she was hired as an assistant professor and researcher in the Department of Animal, Dairy and Veterinary Sciences.
