By Marcus Jensen |

USU Eastern graduates throw their mortarboards into the air at their 2021 Commencement ceremony.

Utah State University Statewide Campuses is pleased to announce dates for its annual Commencement celebrations for the 2021-22 school year. Beginning on April 15, 2022, USU will hold eight ceremonies across campuses in the state through the end of the month. This will be USU’s 135th Commencement since its founding in 1888.

USU’s statewide graduates go on to make an impact in their communities as business leaders, teachers, nurses, social workers, and more across rural Utah.

“Commencement is our favorite time of the year,” said Larry Smith, vice president for Statewide Campuses. “It is the most special opportunity to acknowledge and celebrate the extraordinary accomplishments of our students. We look forward to honoring the next class of Aggie graduates.”

The local ceremonies are scheduled to begin on Friday, April 15, and end on Saturday, April 30. Graduating students may choose to attend a commencement event at their local campus or at any USU campus across the state. The University Commencement, Statewide ceremonies, and all College Ceremonies will also be broadcast via AggieCast for graduates and guests wishing to participate virtually.
