USU Campus Safety office illustration

Utah State University Emergency Management will conduct a test of the USU CODE BLUE Emergency Alert System Tuesday, Oct. 16, at approximately 9:15 a.m.

Members of the campus community are encouraged to sign up for the alerts to receive critical emergency information in a timely manner in the event of a major crisis on campus.

To sign up:

  • log into USU Access
  • select “Personal Information”
  • select “View/Update CODE BLUE Emergency Alert Phone Numbers”
  • enter up to 5 voice and text message numbers (1 text number only)

Helpful hints:

The test notification will come from telephone number (435) 797-7622.  Program this telephone number into the phones that were entered during sign up. It should be labeled: USU CODE BLUE Emergency Alert.

In addition, be sure to share the test date and time with the individuals whose telephone numbers were entered when sign up was completed (parents, spouses, roommates, etc.).

Sign up for additional notification information on the USU Emergency Management Facebook and Twitter pages.

For more information, log on to the Campus Safety website or contact Judy Crockett, (435) 797-0807, judy.crockett@usu.edu.
