It's a 'Rite of Spring’ — Save the Date

USU's Symphony Orchestra and the University of Utah’s Utah Philharmonia join forces to present Stravinsky’s 'Rite of Spring’ Saturday, Feb. 23, on the USU campus in Logan.
Utah State University’s Music Department is hosting the Utah Philharmonia in a joint performance with the USU Symphony Orchestra of Igor Stravinsky’s Rite of Spring in a special concert event Saturday, Feb. 23, at 7:30 p.m. in the Kent Concert Hall in the Chase Fine Arts Center.
“We are celebrating the 100th anniversary of Stravinsky’s Rite of Spring by performing it with the Utah Philharmonia,” said Sergio Bernal, associate professor and director of orchestra in the Caine College of the Arts. “This performance features 130 student musicians from both Utah State and the University of Utah.”
Utah Philharmonia is the University of Utah’s premiere 85-student orchestra directed by Robert Baldwin.
Tickets for Rite of Spring are $10 adults, $8 seniors and youth, $5 USU faculty and staff and free for USU students.
