The primary goal of my teaching is for students to learn the fundamentals of piano to build on for long term accomplishment, fulfillment and fun.  Inspired by my own teachers, I have found a passion for enjoyment and release in music and hope to share this love with students whether their goals are performance oriented or for personal enjoyment.  I find a personal relationship with each student important and try to get to know their interests and goals in and outside of music.  I prefer a primarily classical repertoire but also include other genres such as pop, modern, jazz etc.  I also include ear-training, sight-reading and theory as an important part of lessons.
