Teaching Philosophy:
Learning to play the piano should always be a positive experience. I believe this is accomplished through cooperation between student and teacher.  I as a teacher will employ positive teaching techniques, but I expect my students to step up to the dedication and commitment level required for effective piano study. I believe in well balanced lessons: understanding theory, working for excellent technique, improving sight-reading, and developing aural skills. Students will also learn expression and artistic ability through exposure to a wide variety of repertoire. I am willing to instruct students of all ages, and look forward to having a great teaching experience!
