Aggie Radio presents a three day music festival to discover local, regional, and national artists. Come Discover the Alternative at Whysound on the 16th, TSC Ballroom and Lounges on the 17th, and The Cache on the 18th! Pop Up Shows on campus will be happening 10:30-2:00PM Thursday and Friday, and art installations will be presented throughout the student center Thursday and Friday as well.
CIDI Workshop - Preparing for Final Grading

This workshop will cover the changes to the grade passback from Canvas to Banner. You will also learn how to ensure grades are calculating correctly and learn how to make manual overrides, if necessary.

Adjusting to COVID-19: Virtual Discussion Group
Meeting
This discussion group will use Canvas and WebEx (video conferencing) as the platform. It is free and not a graded course. Students can self-enroll by clicking on the link above. Unlike typical Canvas courses, students can engage with the course only during the scheduled meeting times on Monday-Thursday, 4-5pm. Please note that the course or WebEX space are not being monitored outside of those scheduled meeting times. Good Wi-Fi connection and capability for video conferencing (webcam and mic) are required. Please contact CAPS at 435-797-1012 in advance if you need disability-related accommodations.
This is a discussion group for students to help manage adjustment difficulties related to COVID-19. It is not therapy or psychological treatment. Each session will offer helpful tools to manage COVID-19 related challenges and provide a platform for students to talk to each other for support and exchange of ideas. Topics will include managing COVID-19 anxiety, adjusting to remote learning, healthy approaches to social distancing, etc.

Explore teaching strategies inspired by creative movement, drama, music, visual art, and poetry. Explore integration concepts based on Pamela Zagarenski’s beautifully illustrated book, Red Sings From the Tree Tops. “Color comes alive in this whimsical, innovative book: blue dances on the summer lakes, green drips from spring leaves, black wafts mysterious through autumn evenings.” Come dance, write, sing, act, and make visual art as we explore a year in color through literature and the arts. Friends of Merrill-Cazier Library Spring Lecture with Colleen McDannell

Join us on April 16 for an interesting interview with published author and professor of history and religious studies at University of Utah, Colleen McDannell. McDannell will discuss female members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints view on the church’s culture since the end of polygamy. From suffrage to modern day blogging, hear McDannell’s research on feminist movements within the church after plural marriage was no longer practiced. This event is free and open to the public.
