We know appointments fill up quickly with your career coach, but you can still get your resume reviewed and ready! Utilize the virtual drop-in resume reviews where you will meet with one of our trained student mentors.

Mentors are available: September 14th - September 24th | 9 am to 4 pm. Please be aware that staff will meet with students in the order they arrived. We will get you in as soon as possible!

Around the World Wednesdays: Middle East

The College of Humanities and Social Sciences (CHaSS) is teaming up with the Institute of Government and Politics to bring you Around the World Wednesdays – a series of conversations with Utah State University alumni working internationally.

Join us each month as we virtually visit a different region to learn the ins and outs of finding opportunities abroad, navigating a new culture, and exploring professional environments beyond our borders.

On Wednesday, September 16th, our panel will discuss working in the Middle East. Shashank Chauhan (Political Science ‘06), Program Manager for Mercy Hands for Humanitarian Aid, an Iraqi NGO based in Baghdad, and Janet Larsen Roberts (English ’74), English Subject Matter Expert for Knowledge Group, LLC in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates will share their experiences serving communities abroad.

Co-host Dr. Shannon Peterson is also available to share opportunities for current USU students interested in interning abroad.
