Gender in the Skilled Trades - Panel Discussion
Panel Discussion/Presentation
USU Moab Technical Education will be hosting a Panel Discussion on Gender in the Trades.
Skilled Trades provide a pathway to a career with financial security and fulfillment. However, homophobia, transphobia, sexual harassment and sexism can be barriers for women and other sexual and gender minorities. This panel will share their experiences navigating barriers as well as ways they have found their community and success in the trades. Please pre-register for this broadcasted panel discussion. This event is sponsored by: The USU Center for Intersectional Gender Studies and Research and USU Moab Technical Education.
Sentinels Exhibition Opening Reception

The Last Glacier Collective is a collaboration of artists that work to present their concern for the global future through artistic imagery. Sentinels includes 12 large woodcuts by artists Todd Anderson and Bruce Crownover and three “word paintings” by scientist Gary Machlis.
