USU Blanding TRIO SSS College Tour

The annual USU Blanding TRIO Student Support Services College Tour will include a visit to the main campus this year, participation in the Homecoming festivities and parade, and a theatrical experience at the Hales Theatre - a United States premier of "The Magician's Elephant. We will be picking pears and peppers! We'll be gleaning at two locations tomorrow and plan to spend about an hour at each. We will go over fruit and harvest specifics at the site as a group. Cybersecurity Skills Night

Learning through hands-on experience is the best way to learn! We will be hosting multiple skills nights this semester to gain hands on experience through the National Cyber League (NCL) practice "gym". Our amazing ACES will work groups to focus on networks, reverse engineering, digital forensics, and more. The NCL individual game starts October 25-27 and is for everyone from beginners with zero cyber experience to people with years of experience. Cybersecurity Awareness Month - Scavenger Hunt

Come learn how to "Secure your World"!

October is Cybersecurity Awareness Month, and this year’s theme is “Secure Our World.” There are four key areas that individuals can focus on to "Secure Their World": 1) Enable Multifactor Authentication, 2) Use a Password Manager, 3) Apply Patches, and 4) Activate "Find My Device."

We will have four tables across campus, each focused on one of these security priorities. Since Halloween is the next day, we’ve chosen the theme: “Don’t Get Tricked, Get a Treat! – Secure Your World.” Each table will provide treats along with information on one of the four priorities.

Scavenger hunt! participants will collect stamps at each table after learning about the security tip. Those who collect all four stamps can head to Old Main to claim a prize!
