The line-up includes, Cinderella (2015), Hidden Figures, A League of Their Own, On the Basis of Sex, The Help, and many others! Business Ambassador Applications

Apply now to be a Business Ambassador! Business Ambassadors are authorized student representatives of the Jon M. Huntsman School of Business, who work closely with the HSB Recruiting team in achieving the school's mission of becoming a globally recognized institution. For the 2020-2021 school year, we will be selecting 14 outstanding students. The pay is $12/hr.

Ambassadors assist with recruiting students to the Jon M. Huntsman School of Business. They are responsible for welcoming visitors to the school by giving campus tours and engaging guests in fun and interesting conversation. They travel to community colleges, other two-year institutions, and high schools to recruit transfer and high school students. They also help run USU and HSB recruitment events (such as open houses, DECA Aggie Invitational, A-Day, etc.).

Meg Day Reading, Swenson Writer for 2020

Invited as the Swenson Writer for 2020, poet Meg Day will be on campus to give a reading on Wednesday, March 25, at 11:30AM in Library 101. She will also give a master class at 2:30PM that same day and in the same room.

Meg Day is the author of Last Psalm at Sea Level (Barrow Street, 2014), winner of the Publishing Triangle’s Audre Lorde Award, and a finalist for the 2016 Kate Tufts Discovery Award. The 2015-2016 recipient of the Amy Lowell Poetry Travelling Scholarship and a 2013 recipient of an NEA Fellowship in Poetry, Day is Assistant Professor of English & Creative Writing at Franklin & Marshall College.

We will bring in Amanda Parker, an incredible speaker who is Senior Director and oversees women's rights. She will have a presentation about FGM in the U.S., it is a topic not talked about, yet very important to know and understand that it not only exists in other countries, but ours to.

Initiated in 1910, the "A" Pin Award is highly esteemed at Utah State University. The pin features Old Main tower and includes the inscription, USU Scholarship, denoting the highest undergraduate scholarly achievement.

For the College of Science A-pin Celebration, students who have earned the award can come to the open house to receive their award and enjoy refreshments with the Dean and Associate Dean.

Women and Disability Film Fest - A Taste of ReelAbilites

Arts/Entertainment | Year of the Woman

This two-night film festival brings films from the international ReelAbilities Film Festival, to host a taste of ReelAbilities on the USU campus. This event will highlight films written and directed by and about women with disabilities with special guest speakers from the USU community. The event will be at the Eccles Conference Center Auditorium, parking in the Big Blue Terrace and Blue Premium lots are free after 5pm and on Saturday. Light refreshments will be served.

Night one (March 27th) will show two films, Shakespeare in Tokyo (short - 2018, Genevieve Clay-Smith) and Perfectly Normal for Me (feature - 2017, Catherine Tambini).

Night two will show three films - two shorts and a feature. CODA (short, 2019, Erika Davis-Marsh), Milky Pop Kid (short, 2016, Johanna Garvin), and Defiant Lives (feature, 2016, Sarah Barton).

This event was funded by the USU Year of the Woman and by the Center for Persons with Disabilties.
