Protein kinases are involved in a range of diseases from malaria to cancer. Kannan develops computational and experimental approaches to understand how natural sequence variation contributes to functional variation in protein kinases and how non-natural variation contributes to disease.
Open For Climate Justice: Lightning Talks
Panel Discussion/Presentation
Climate Justice is an explicit acknowledgement that the climate crisis has far-reaching effects, and the impacts are not being borne equally or fairly, between rich and poor, older and younger generations, and people of all genders. Hear from USU researchers on how making their work open promotes climate justice and hear from local organizations about the challenges they face in accessing current research to help tackle the climate crisis.
