Creating Equitable Classroom Policies

Workshop/Training | Sparkshops

Policies on aspects of class such as attendance, tardiness, and late work are so ubiquitous as to be unnoticed and unchallenged. This sparkshop will discuss what the "hidden curriculum" is, how to evaluate your course policies for normative ideologies and values, and lead you through workshopping your policies to make your classroom more inclusive, equitable, and antiracist.
