The Office of Global Engagement and the International Student Council co-present International Education Week, November 7-11, 2022, with in-person and virtual events celebrating our global community.
Allies Training
Workshop/Training
Want to know how to support the LGBT+ community? In this two hour training, participants learn about key terminology, microaggressions, state laws, and other key topics that impact the LGBT+ community. Participants have the opportunity to take a commitment pledge and receive an allies sticker. Mind-Brain-Body: Addressing Burnout in your Busy Lives
Workshop/Training
This one-hour workshop will focus on learning about the warning signs and antidotes to burnout, focusing specifically on learning more about work/life balance and developing easy stress reduction strategies. Stress & Anxiety Workshop Series Part Five: Healthy Thinking

Start of POW/MIA 24-hr Vigil
Special Event
USU AFROTC Detachment 860 will host a 24-hour vigil with uniformed guards honoring America’s prisoners of war (POW) and those soldiers still considered missing in action (MIA) in observance of Veterans Day. To start this vigil, an AFROTC cadet Honor Guard will post the colors on the Quad in front of a cadet formation. Spectators may observe the start of the vigil, and any portion, during the 24-hour period (5pm, 10 Nov, to 5pm, 11 Nov). POW and MIA service members are honored on Veterans Day, not Memorial Day, because they have not yet been officially declared Killed in Action.

Established by Presidential Decree in July 2018, Fridays are proclaimed as "True Blue Aggie Friday" and all faculty, staff, alumni, students, and Aggie Family members are encouraged to wear apparel bearing the colors and insignia of the university on those days!

Your Mountain West Champions are BACK to defend their title! Join in the festivities as your USU Alumni Association hosts pre-game parties at four away football games this year. Each event will feature a full meal and dessert, Aggie swag, and tailgate fun and games. Representatives from USU Athletics, Alumni Association and University Advancement will be there to celebrate the return of the Aggies!
Engineering Extravaganza Jr

The USU student section of the Society of Women Engineers is proud to present our annual event, Engineering Extravaganza Jr. This event is for elementary students in Cache Valley in the 3rd-5th grades. Students will come to campus to learn about engineering through practical, and fun hands-on activities related to the four engineering departments at USU. Come design, think, and create with us at Engineering Extravaganza Jr!

CPR/AED & First Aid for Professional Rescuer
Workshop/Training
The primary purpose of the American Red Cross CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuers and First Aid course is to instruct those who have a duty to act (professional rescuers) in the knowledge and skills needed to respond appropriately to first aid, breathing, and cardiac emergencies. This includes the use of an automated external defibrillator (AED) to care for a victim experiencing cardiac arrest. This is a blended learning course, you should expect a direct link to the online content to be sent to your email 3 days prior to the course to complete the online learning content prior to the start time of the course.
