New USU Monument Valley Education Building Groundbreaking

The groundbreaking of the new USU Monument Valley Education Building will take place at Monument Valley High School.
UPR Summer Garden Party
Fundraiser
Join Utah Public Radio for our annual summer garden party at Bruce Bugbee and Diana West’s historic home. The evening will include a catered dinner, live music, self-guided tours of the house and gardens, and special guest Kirk Siegler, NPR National Correspondent covering the West. We will also have the Photo Booth Bus for the evening and you’ll be able to get free photos taken in their restored VW bus converted into a photo booth. Ticket sales support local news reporting on Utah Public Radio.

Utah State University (USU) is excited to announce its annual Connections Luminary event, set to take place on Friday, August 23, beginning at 8:30 PM. This cherished tradition will be held on the Quad on USU’s Logan campus, illuminating the night with thousands of lights and bringing together students, faculty, and the surrounding community.

The opening exhibition of the academic year features paintings created by Art+Design BFA alumni Tiana Godfrey along with Tiny Houses created by students in the Interior Architecture and Design Program. The Tiny Houses assignment is a component of the Architectural Graphics and CADD courses, and the project outline is simple: design a small residence for two people, approximately 500 sqft per level. The residence must have more than one level, be built in Utah, and meet all residential building codes. The students create presentation drawings, a three-dimensional model, set of construction documents, and interior and exterior renderings of their custom design.
