2022 Virtual Aggie Auction

Fundraiser

The Aggie Auction is hosted each year to help fund USU student-athlete scholarships. Join us for a week dedicated to the Aggies and providing an opportunity for our student-athletes to be successful in the classroom and on the field of play. Attendees will have the opportunity to bid on and win one-of-a-kind Aggie memorabilia, trips and experiences, and a variety of items from around the community. GO AGGIES!

Paper & Clay is a national juried exhibition open to all BFA & MFA printmaking and ceramic students from across the country. This year’s exhibition showcases 63 exceptional contemporary student works from 25 various academic institutions. This year’s juror is ceramic artist, Kelli Sinner.

Relaunching Your Career: Tools & Strategies for Women Returning to the Workforce

Many Utah women take career breaks for various reasons, including raising children, assisting with elder care, and managing other responsibilities. Eventually, many women want to relaunch their careers, whether it is full-time, part-time, or even contract work. Yet, relaunching is intimidating for so many women. Often, we feel that we are not prepared for professional work after being at home and outdated in terms of skills, competencies, and professional networks. Don’t lose hope because you are more prepared than you think!

This engaging panel of experts and launchers will provide experiences, insights, tools, tips, and strategies for women returning to the workforce—whether you are thinking about it or already have a “job” but want a “career.” Join us as we discuss how to be successful in relaunching your career! The Aggie Chocolate Factory would like to formally invite you to come and view their Chocolate History, Science, and Society seminar session happening on February 10, 2022. There will be 2 sessions happening in case one time doesn't work for you, one at 12:00 pm and the other at 7:00 pm. These will both take place in the JLSC cafeteria. All Faculty, Staff, Students, and community are invited. They will be available afterward for questions, thoughts, or program interests. There will be samples- Thistle and Rose single-origin, Swiss-style milk chocolate, and Ruby chocolate!

Now in her final semester at Georgetown University, Savanna Jones graduated from USU in 2018 with a degree in Political Science. During her time in law school, Savanna has interned for the National Network to End Domestic Violence, externed for the Virginia Indigent Defense Commission (the public defender’s office), and worked as a summer associate for Bailey & Glasser LLP, a mid-sized firm in D.C., where she focused on consumer litigation. Savanna has also served as both author and editor for the Georgetown Journal of Gender and the Law and currently works as a student attorney for the Criminal Defense and Prisoner Advocacy Clinic.
