Global Learning Programs: SEEDxp Puerto Rico and London Leadership

Student Activities

We are accepting applications for two transformative global learning experiences: (1) SEEDxp allows students to experience the entrepreneurial environment of Puerto Rico by engaging in project work and meeting with companies and organizations across the island, and (2) London Leadership involves students in discussions and experiences about what it means to be a leader and how an individual brings those skills and abilities to an organization as well as in one's private life.

Lunch & Learn: Aetna - Mindfulness

Workshop/Training

You’ve probably heard the clichés – “Stop and smell the roses” or “Be in the moment.” But it’s easier said than done. Practicing the skill of mindfulness can help you reduce stress, feel better and improve your life. In this workshop, participants will learn about the benefits of mindfulness, understand the science behind mindfulness, find tips to choose a mindfulness program, and discover how to use mindfulness in day-to-day life. Register today for this Lunch & Learn event provided by Aetna, USU's Employee Assistance Program, and the Be Well Program. Community Opioid Education Dinner - Price

Breakfast/Luncheon/Dinner

We will discuss the current state of the opioid crisis in our communities as well as real-world ways that you can help support loved ones and get the support that you need. Tickets are free for Carbon County community members 18 years and older and include dinner. Space is limited so register now! Although the events are virtual, to receive the take-out dinner and swag bag, attendees need to register for the event in their area. After you register, you will receive instructions for accessing the Zoom meeting. Event Details: Dinner will be provided by Juniper Pizza Cafe (40 W Main, Price). You'll be able to pick up your dinner and swag bag on March 24 from 4:45pm - 5:45pm. The event will begin promptly at 6:00pm and end at 7:30pm. Complete our post-event survey to receive a $10 gift card and be entered into an opportunity drawing for a $50 gift card! *Surveys will be provided at the event for you to complete about the learning objectives and your experience. Show your strength with the Big 3 Challenge! 🏋️ Max out your deadlift, squat, and bench to join our 250, 500, 750, or 1,000lb club.  ​​​3 lifts, 3 attempts, t-shirt size guaranteed. ​ ​The challenge will run March 21-24 and March 28-31 at the Fieldhouse. Prenatal Yoga

Designed as a 6 class series, with each class building upon the last, Prenatal Yoga is focused on increasing strength and comfort during pregnancy through alignment-based yoga techniques. We will also emphasize labor preparation through movement and breath, strengthening your body and nervous system for an empowering birth experience, and teaching you some powerful tools to carry with you into the postpartum period. The 6-week program is only $10. Drop-in passes cost $5 for each class.
