Big 3 Challenge

Show your strength with the Big 3 Challenge! 🏋️ Max out your deadlift, squat, and bench to join our 250, 500, 750, or 1,000lb club.  ​​​3 lifts, 3 attempts, t-shirt size guaranteed. ​ ​The challenge will run March 21-24 and March 28-31 at the Fieldhouse. Kayak Roll Session

Students, Faculty and Staff! Come get your kayak roll on in the HPER small pool Tuesday nights, 7-9pm. Outdoor Programs will have kayaks (with skirts and paddles) available at the pool on a first-come-first-served basis. Please be respectful if others are waiting for a boat and limit your time to less than 45 minutes. To access roll sessions, you must have student, staff, faculty, or guest access to the pool area. The general public may purchase a $3.00 pool pass for the roll session at the HPER service desk. If you have questions about pool access, contact the HPER service desk @435-797-1785. You can bring your own kayak but it must be inspected by OP staff prior to entering the pool area. Boats must be cleaned and inspected in the OP wash-down room. Boat inspections can be done during shop business hours on the day of the roll session. Dirt, debris and foreign material entering the pool from unclean boats will result in the termination of roll sessions! To access the pool with your kayak, you must enter the HPER building through the west doors near the ARC and sand volleyball courts. Parking is available on 800 E. Mindful Movement | Yin Yoga

FREE REGISTRATION: https://bit.ly/mindfulnessandmeditationweekly Yin yoga is a slow-paced, passive type of yoga that incorporates long holds and stretching designed for deep contemplation and mind-body awareness. Yin yoga promotes sensory awakening that melts away tension and stress, and is known to release repressed or stored emotions. A tried and true technique to experience fascia and connective tissue release, Yin yoga is also an excellent practice for beginners because it offers plenty of time to uncover the unique benefits of individual poses without worrying about tricky transitions. Practicing self care through mindfulness and meditation can help you relax and focus on what is most important - your overall wellness. This is a weekly, online wellness series hosted by the Utah State University Salt Lake County Health Extension.
