Around the World Wednesdays: Asia

The College of Humanities and Social Sciences (CHaSS) is teaming up with the Institute of Government and Politics to bring you Around the World Wednesdays –a series of conversations with Utah State University alumni working internationally.

Join us each month as we virtually visit a different region to learn the ins and outs of finding opportunities abroad, navigating a new culture, and exploring professional environments beyond our borders.

On Wednesday, November 11, our panel will discuss working in the Asia. Medlir Mema (Political Science ‘04), Associate Professor of International Relations at Tokyo International University; Ben Quick (MS American Studies '11, BS Recreation Resources Management '03), Professor of English and Composition at the American University in Vietnam; and Keith Wilson (MS ITLS '11, BS Journalism '08), International Project Director at IDFL Laboratory and Institute based in China, Taiwan, and Vietnam, will share their experiences working and living in another part of the world.

Co-host Dr. Shannon Peterson is also available to share opportunities for current USU students interested in interning abroad.
