Leadership Forum: Huntsman School Welcome with Dean Anderson

Panel Discussion/Presentation | Focused Friday

A conversation on leadership featuring Huntsman School Dean Douglas D. Anderson and Associate Dean Dave Patel. Both of these Aggies found their way back to USU after spending many years on the East Coast. Dean Anderson received his PhD from Harvard, where he then taught for many years before founding his own executive development firm. Associate Dean Patel spent 15 years in Washington, DC, working in and out of government, including working for the Secretary of Defense. Don’t miss what is sure to be a lively discussion on leadership and life. The presentation will be live-streamed on the Huntsman YouTube Channel.

Leadership Forum: She's Daring Mighty Things Summit

This year’s powerful speakers include Dr. Susan Madsen, a leading voice in strengthening the impact of Utah girls and women and the Founder and Director of the Utah Women & Leadership Project at USU; Amy Rees Anderson, an engaging speaker and author and Founder and Managing Partner of REES Capital; and Sara Dent Merrill, Senior Media Strategist at ICON Health & Fitness and former Huntsman School Business Senator. These women and their stories will leave you feeling encouraged and empowered to dare mighty things!

She’s Daring Mighty Things Summit (SDMT) is a free event open to all and will be hosted virtually this year via Zoom. While we are not able to gather in person, we are offering a conference workbook and Huntsman swag item to each registrant. Registration for the event is open until 5:00 PM on September 16th but we encourage you to register early to ensure you receive your materials in time! The first 100 students to register will receive an additional exclusive gift.
