Female husbands – people assigned female who lived as men and married women – navigated similar challenges in the 18th and 19th centuries. Climate Justice is an explicit acknowledgement that the climate crisis has far-reaching effects, and the impacts are not being borne equally or fairly, between rich and poor, older and younger generations, and people of all genders. Open access can create pathways to more equitable knowledge sharing and serve as a means to address the inequities that shape the impacts of climate change and our response to them. Hear from USU researchers on how making their work open promotes climate justice and hear from local organizations about the challenges they face in accessing current research to help tackle the climate crisis.
