February is National Eating Disorder Awareness month and to bring more awareness to this issue, we will be teaching Every Body Rocks classes (from the curriculum designed by Brooke Parker, RD). This is a series of classes promoting Intuitive Eating and positive body image. There will be 4 classes taught by senior USU Dietetic students. It is recommended that you come to all four classes as they will all have different content but you can attend just one class also. The curriculum is geared towards female students, however, there is something for everyone to learn from these classes so please join us! Register at recportal.usu.edu.

Lead Climb Clinic

This course is an introduction into lead climbing taught at the ARC Climbing Wall. You will learn proper techniques for climbing and belaying. Class size is capped at 6 people so get your spot early! Must be top-rope belay certified at the climbing wall to participate in the class. Register for $25 at the ARC Climbing Wall.

Intuitive Eating Class

Come and learn about the 10 principles of Intuitive Eating! Intuitive eaters march to their inner hunger signals and eat whatever they choose in a satisfying way, without experiencing guilt or an ethical dilemma. The Intuitive Eater is an unaffected eater. Our goal is to help you create a healthy relationship with food by discarding the diet mentality and teaching you how to listen to the messages of your body. Let's bring the pleasure back to eating. Our classes will be offered from 3pm-4pm on the following dates: January 26th (Wednesday) February 11th (Friday) March 23rd (Wednesday) April 6th (Wednesday) *These classes will be taught by senior USU Dietetics students and will be supervised by a Registered Dietitian. Lunch & Learn - Aetna: Mental Health Awareness in the Workplace

In this training, participants will learn; mental health statistics in the workplace, tools to help someone with a mental health issue, how to have hard conversations, and ways to offer support. Dawn Patrol Beginner Backcountry Ski Tour
Workshop/Training
Come grab some backcountry turns with us! We will venture into the backcountry to seek out snow that you can't get to on a ski lift. Learn some of the basics of backcountry travel and safety. No backcountry experience is required but you must be comfortable riding double blue to black diamond resort terrain. Participants must be prepared for strenuous hiking. Backcountry touring skis or splitboard with skins are required and available to rent for an additional $10+tax for trip participants. NO SNOWSHOES. Trip cost includes transportation, avalanche beacon, shovel, probe, and student leadership. All participants must be fully vaccinated, have health insurance, and abide by OP and University Policies.

CIDI Workshop - Exam Security in Canvas Without Proctorio

If you want to run a secure exam without using Proctorio, your options are to use a testing center or design your exam in a way that removes the benefits of trying to cheat. This can take some extra work and creativity but often results in better exams overall. We'll discuss question design, timing, question banks, and the way the USU testing center network works.
