What's the Deal with Water in Cache Valley?

Panel Discussion/Presentation

Cache Audience: Join us for an engaging conversation about the future of water in the Bear River Basin on Thursday, October 17th from 7-8:30 pm at the Logan Library . We'll explore the vital connection between agriculture, regional growth, and the health of the Bear River and Great Salt Lake. As water resources in the region face increasing strain, this discussion will dive into the challenges and opportunities surrounding water use, protecting Utah’s agricultural heritage, and managing a growing population. We'll explore the role of local and state policymakers, and what it all means for the future of our community. Panelists include Nate Daugs, farmer and manager of the Cache Water District; Patrick Belmont, watershed scientist and unaffiliated candidate for Utah HD-3; Barbara Tidwell, R-Logan running for re-election on the Cache County Council; and ValJay Rigby, 5th gen. farmer and President of the Utah Farm Bureau.
