Moab Wilderness First Responder Recertification

Information/Orientation

This course is designed to refresh a current WFR from a WAFA with new updates in wilderness medicine assessments and treatments based on best practices and new research, as well as updated industry standard protocols. Lake Powell Kayaking Trip

We are heading down south to the amazing red rock and blue waters of Lake Powell to explore some of its many side canyons in sea kayaks. We will pack our kayaks with our gear and spend two nights camping on the lake. Participants must be able to swim and comfortable in open water. Trip costs include sales tax, food, transportation, kayak equipment, tent, sleeping bag, pad, and student leadership.

The Robins Awards are the most coveted of all Utah State honors, and the awards night is the year’s most prestigious event. Students and faculty are rewarded for their hard work and dedication to their individual goals, as well as the goals of USU. The awards memorialize William E. Robins, a campus hero who had a rare quality to turn his vision into Utah State’s vision.
