Hansen Differential Tuition Scholarship Application Opens

Date/Deadline

The Hansen Differential Tuition Scholarship is awarded per semester and is
based on financial need, as per a Free Application for Federal Student Aid
(FAFSA) score. The maximum scholarship award amount is the lesser of
$1,000 per semester or total paid differential tuition. The Application opens on Tuesday, January 11, 2022, and closes on Friday, January 21, 2022, at 5:00 pm. Apply now.

Childcare Symposium: Practices, Policies, and Strategies to Move Utah Forward

Panel Discussion/Presentation

Utah families and a growing number of employers often name access to high-quality, affordable childcare as a key barrier to prosperity in our state, especially for low- and moderate-income families. The questions then become: How can we increase childcare access and affordability in Utah so our families and workplaces can thrive? Why is this topic becoming more and more important for employers today? What childcare resources can employers provide to their workers? What public policies can help families and employers in Utah regarding childcare? What are policy challenges and opportunities? What are general challenges, strategies, and solutions for Utah families regarding childcare? Overall, this two-hour online symposium will focus on practices, policies, and strategies that can move Utah forward.

Feeling like you aren't capable, skilled, or good enough is completely normal in that transition to a new internship or your first-time role; many call this feeling Imposter Syndrome. As you walk into an interview or even your first day on the job, it's easy to feel like you don't belong there. This mindset doesn't serve you! In our first Spring Backpack to Briefcase event, we will hear from Paul Fjeldsted, Senior Lecturer in the Economics and Finance Department.
