The Clothesline Project is an annual event to raise awareness about domestic violence during the month of October, National Domestic Violence Awareness Month. The Clothesline Project is a visual display of shirts with graphic messages and illustrations that have been designed by survivors of interpersonal violence or by someone who loves someone who has been killed. It was created as a way for survivors to share what has happened to them as well as highlight the realities behind statistics of domestic violence that are often overlooked. The project will be displayed across USU Campus at various dining services locations. We encourage you to visit a display this month and visit our resources page should you or someone you know need help.

Enjoy a root beer float or an orange Fanta indoors in the Taggart Student Center Hub, or hot chocolate on the TSC patio, along with Halloween-themed snacks. Try your hand at making slime! The gathering is hosted by the student-led Science Council as part of the celebratory week's activities.
LGBT+ Support Group

LGBTQ+ Support Group is for students that identify as a member of the LGBTQ+ community and those that are questioning if they are a member of the LGBTQ+ community. Students are provided with the opportunity to get together in a safe environment where they can learn from, and support, each other. Each week, we will discuss important issues that LGBTQ+ individuals face with topics being chosen by those who wish to participate. This group will be co-facilitated by Jacob Cameron, a therapist from USU Counseling & Psychological Services (CAPS) and Erika-Danielle Lundström, the Gender and Sexuality Coordinator at the Inclusion Center. Koji Attwood, pianist
Arts/Entertainment
Koji Attwood made his solo debut at the age of ten, and one year later won 2nd prize at the Young Keyboard Artists International Competition. He earned 2nd prize at the Stravinsky and International Keyboard competitions and was a winner of Astral Artistic Services' 2003 International Auditions. Mr. Attwood has performed numerous solo recitals across much of the country, including concerts in Steinway Hall, Lincoln Center, and on the Kosciuszko Foundation Concert Series. Mr. Attwood partnered with Mikhail Baryshnikov for his 2002-03 solo tour of the United States, garnering praise for being "beautifully nuanced" [Cleveland Plain Dealer]. He is featured, along with pianist Marc-Andre Hamelin, on the 2009 "Rarities of Piano" Danacord release, and as an avid transcriber, has over twenty arrangements to his credit.

This group is an opportunity to discuss and support one another within the complicated and varied issues surrounding body liberation, with an emphasis on Body Justice and Fat Liberation, to illuminate the truth and move past societal/cultural messaging in an effort to liberate each individual participant. This group will provide: A safe space to explore societal impacts on group members’ relationship with their bodies, self-image, and health. A safe space to share individual and collective experiences of living in this society; including workplace, dating, family of origin, social media, health systems, etc. A safe space to authentically connect with others around experiences, thoughts, and feelings of living in a thin-obsessed, fat-phobic culture. Resources and information to learn more about the concepts of Body Justice, Fat Liberation, Health At Every Size, etc. This group is open to students, faculty, and staff. AJEDI Series: Heart2Heart Workshop

Our Nov. 4 speaker is USU physicist Rob Davies, who presents "Fantasies of Continuous Growth: Saying the Quiet Part Out Loud" at 7 pm in the Emert Auditorium (ESLC 130) of the Eccles Science Learning Center on the USU Logan campus. Dr. Davies will speak for about half an hour and then invite questions from the audience. Afterwards, enjoy refreshments and hands-on STEM learning activities provided by student and community groups in the ESLC atrium.
