Concerts are part of the band large ensemble curriculum. As capstone events, they typically occur twice per semester. Students are required to participate in these events as a large part of their grades, and these concerts are the culmination of several weeks of classroom rehearsals. Two years after Pride & Prejudice ends, MISS BENNET: CHRISTMAS AT PEMBERLEY, revisits our favorite Austen characters as they celebrate Christmas at Lizzy and Mr. Darcy's estate. The Bennet family's middle sister. Mary, grows tired of the spinster role her family has cast upon her, but an unexpected guest sparks her hopes for a love match. However, nothing is that simple in Austen-land and chaos, comedy, and romance ensue as Mary's sisters act as matchmakers. This holiday comedy is a fun and heartfelt play for the whole family to enjoy.

All undergrads are invited to learn about the National Science Foundation's Research Experiences for Undergraduates program and how to apply. Aggies who've participated in this program will share their experiences and give tips on how to apply. Admission is free. The gathering is coordinated by the student-led Science Council of USU's College of Science, with support from the student councils of the College of Engineering, the College of Agriculture & Applied Sciences and the Quinney College of Natural Resources, along with USU's Undergraduate Research Office. Order of the Engineer Ring Ceremony

All Engineering graduates are invited to participate in this year's "Order of the Engineer" Ring Ceremony to accept the "Obligation of an Engineer". Participation is a voluntary step to show your dedication to the field of engineering as you work in and with the public.
What is an Engineer's Ring Ceremony?
The Ring Ceremony is the public induction of candidates into the Order of the Engineer, during which the engineer candidates formally accept the Obligation of an Engineer and receive a stainless steel ring to be worn as a symbol on the small finger of the working hand.
What is the "Obligation of an Engineer"?
The Obligation is the formal statement of an engineer's responsibilities to the public and to the profession. The obligation is publicly accepted by an engineer during induction at a Ring Ceremony.
What is the Purpose?
To stimulate formal public recognition by engineers in the U.S. of two basic principles:
- The primary purpose of the engineering profession is the protection of the public, health, safety, and welfare.
- All members of the engineering profession share a common bond.
"To meet the needs of the future, we look to you, the engineers of the future"

Wassermann Piano Series Presents Gabriela Montero

Celebrated for her exceptional musicality and ability to improvise, Gabriela Montero's visionary interpretation's and unique compositional gifts have garnered her critical acclaim and a devoted following on the world stage. Featuring her own classical improvisations on a theme from the audience and works by Rachmaninoff, Stravinsky, and Prokofiev, the Wassermann Piano Series returns to the Russell/Wanlass Performance Hall with Gabriela Montero.
