Your USUSA Statewide Officers from USU Moab, USU Southwest, and USU Brigham Regions are hosting a Pumpkin Decorating Contest for their USU Statewide students! Enter a photo of your carved/decorated pumpkin for a chance to win USU swag and a gift card! Photos will be collected October 15-29, 2023. All entered photos will be posted on the prospective region Instagram pages on October 30, 2023. Judging will take place by page followers in the comments on the Instagram posts. Judging will take place from October 30-31, 2023 and Winners will be announced on November 1, 2023. Halloween Bike Ride
Student Activities
Join Backcountry Squatters and Aggie Blue Bikes on a fun Halloween-themed bike ride around Logan! This event is open to anyone and everyone in the Logan community. There will be a costume contest for participants with prizes for the winners! We will be meeting at 5:00 PM on October 30th in front of Aggie Blue Bikes and ending in downtown Logan. We look forward to seeing you there!

Habitat Restoration
Student Activities
Come join the Society of Ecological Restoration Club to help DNR habitat restoration biologist Shane Hill! We will be planting an assortment of trees and shrubs to increase the overwinter feed and habitat for local ungulates. We will be meeting at the Cinnamon Creek site around 9am. Bring a spade, work gloves, water, work boots and clothes that can get a little muddy. Reach out if you have any questions!

Dr. Borja has earned three graduate degrees from the UMKC Conservatory of Music and Dance, including a Doctor of Musical Arts in Flute Performance, a Master of Music in Flute Performance, and a Master of Music in Musicology. In addition, Dr. Borja holds a Bachelor of Arts in Music from Principia College.
Science Week: Pizza with Professors

Join with fellow Aggie scholars to hear from a panel of College of Science faculty members about their unique research efforts. Faculty members from each of the college’s six departments will offer 5-10 minute presentations describing their research, and the ways students are involved in these endeavors. Afterwards, enjoy free pizza and opportunities to mingle with professors and student researchers.
