Looking for ways to reduce the plastic waste in your life? Join the Swaner Preserve and EcoCenter and Recycle Utah for our Solutions to Plastic Pollution Workshop!
During this workshop we will discuss plastic alternatives, learn some DIY, cost effective, solutions, and talk about why reducing plastic is good for everyone.
Participants will have the chance to enter into an opportunity drawing full of all kinds of awesome plastic alternatives like _finalswab, Stasher Bags, Bee's Wrap, Simple Ecology Produce Bags, ZeroWaste Floss, and so much more!
This event is free to the public, tickets for the opportunity drawing can be purchased at the event. Participants will get a 15% discount on plastic alternatives in the Swaner Gift Shop.

The USU Society for Human Resource Management Club is bringing in members of the Bridgerland Chapter of SHRM to conduct mock interviews for undergraduate students that are specifically interested in HR internships and careers.

These attending HR professionals can gauge developing talent and help hone your skills for future HR internships, jobs, and careers in human resources. Interested students can also polish and refine their professionalism, interpersonal communication, and general interviewing skills.

Gilman Study Abroad Scholarship Workshop

If you are currently receiving a Pell Grant, then you are eligible to apply for the Gilman Scholarship for study abroad! Fall 2020, Academic Year 2020-2021, and Summer 2020 applications are due March 3, 2020.

Come to one of our advising sessions for Gilman Scholarship applications to get an overview of the scholarship,
plus tips for essay writing. If you would like feedback from an advisor on your essays, you are welcome to bring them.

The sessions will be held in Military Science 217 (upstairs). Feel free to come and go as needed during the workshops.
