USU ID Cards

We offer 3 different kinds of USU ID Cards: student, faculty/staff, and spouse cards. All will give you access to different resources on campus as well as the ability to use Aggie Express to pay for certain resources, even enjoy a 10% dicount when you use your card with Aggie Express at all dining locations.

Student Cards

The USU ID Card is your official passport on campus while at USU. It is used to get into Athletic events, Campus Recreation facilities such as the HPER and Fieldhouse, USU theatrical performances, Computer labs, and other student activities. The card also acts as your library card, meal plan card, health center card, copy card, and a campus account card.


Where do I get my card?

Obtain your USU Card in the USU Card Office (TSC 212). Students located at Statewide Campuses can go to their local location to request a card. USU Eastern students can stop by the Cashiers Office in the One Stop Student Services building to pay for their card. Take the receipt to the Learning & Library Commons along with your A#, driver's license, state ID's or passports for verification. 

IMPORTANT:
You must be a registered USU student to get your card. The USU ID Card will be active two weeks before and after a registered semester, if you have paid tuition and student body fees. Pre-check your card for access anytime.

How much does it cost?

$15 with valid photo ID. The fee for Aggie Orientation (Freshmen Orientation) includes the $15 fee for your first ID Card. Pick up your packet during Aggie Orientation or from the USU Card Office (TSC 212) if you participated in Online Aggie Orientation. Turn in the Card Voucher from the packet to receive your ID card. Non-traditional or transfer students can come purchase their USU ID Card ($15) from the Card Office after registering. Statewide Campus students can go to their local location and request a USU card.  and request a USU Card.

Replacement cards are only $15.

REQUIRED: A picture ID (driver's license, passport, or student ID card) will be required when acquiring your USU ID Card.

Use you USU card to access your meal plan, aggie express, print lab, CS course material credit line, CS computer credit line.

As part of your Student Body Fee payment, you have free access to the following facilities:

Faculty and Staff Cards

The USU ID Card is your official passport on campus while at USU. It is used to get into Campus Recreation facilities such as the HPER and Fieldhouse (lower level). The card also acts as your library card, meal plan card, health center card, copy card, and a campus account card. Faculty and Staff receive a 10% discount with a valid ID at the Campus Store and all Dining Locations when using Aggie Express.


Where do I get my card?

Obtain your USU Card in the USU Card Office (TSC 212). Distance Education students can go to their local Distance Education site and request a USU Card. USU Eastern students can pay for their card at the One Stop Student Services building and pick-up their card from the Library & Learning Commons with their receipt and proper identification. 

Important: 
You must be a Benefited USU Faculty or Staff Employee to get your card. You may need to allow 2 to 4 business days before visiting our office so HR can process your new hire paperwork. You can contact HR at (435) 797-0216. Pre-check your card for access anytime.

About My USU Faculty/Staff Card

The USU CARD is the official ID card of all Utah State University students as well as faculty and staff.

It functions as a library card, meal card, activities card, recreation center card, computer access card, health center card, and copy card as well as declining balance accounts and meal plans.

How much does it cost?

$15 with valid photo ID.

Spouse Cards

Student Spouse Cards and Faculty or Staff Spouse Cards allow different access and are obtained in different ways than student or faculty/staff USU ID cards. 


Where do I get my card?

Student Spouse Card
You must be married to a registered USU student to get your card.
You will need to pay the $40 spouse fee (with cash or check) at the Registrar's Office and present your receipt at the USU Card Office (TSC 212). It takes 24 hours after your fees have been paid to activate your card.

Faculty or Staff Spouse Card
You must be a spouse of a benefited USU Faculty or Staff Employee to get your card.
After filling out your paperwork in Human Resources, please allow 2 to 4 business days before visiting the USU Card Office (TSC 212). You can contact HR at (435) 797-0216.

REQUIRED:

An original picture ID (driver's license, passport, or student ID card) will be required when acquiring your USU ID Card
Proof of a marriage certificate (an original of marriage license/certificate must be shown one time)

How much does it cost?

$15 with valid photo ID (driver’s license or passport)

*NEW! To get started, fill out the Student Spouse Pass Request Form and return it to the USU Registrar's Office.

Note: Spouses at Statewide Campus locations are not eligible for the Spouse Pass.
