The Center for Community Engagement has three prestigious awards for students, faculty, and community members who are committed to outstanding service: The Presidential Award, the Ivory Prize, and the Val R. Christensen Service Scholarship.
Presidential Award
Recognizing work of outstanding faculty, staff, students, and community partners that exemplifies collaboration in a context of partnership and reciprocity.
Ivory Prize
Recognizing extraordinary, influential student accomplishments and leadership in community engagement. Includes a prize and an investment in the winner’s program.
Val R. Christensen Service Scholarship
The Val R. Christensen Service Center awards a male and a female student with a scholarship for their community engagement and service.
Outstanding Service Awards
Each year, CCE recognizes 1-2 individuals from each of the CCE programs for demonstrating commitment to finding solutions for challenges facing our communities.
