Inclusion and Belonging Fund for Student Organizations

This fund will support inclusion and belonging initiatives at Utah State University. We encourage student clubs and organizations to promote and advance events, programs, professional education, social and cultural programming that embrace diversity in all its forms. We encourage that initiatives align strongly with our institutional vision of empowering all people to lead successful lives of involvement, innovation, and impact. As a premier land grant institution, we are committed to excellence, access and inclusion. Cultivating a diverse, equitable, and inclusive community where different perspectives, values, cultures, and identities are acknowledged, welcomed, and valued is a top priority.

Organizations that apply are encouraged to work collaboratively and design events and/ or programs with campus-wide/statewide impact.

Applications will be reviewed by a committee with representation from the following offices:

  • Office of the Vice President
  • The Inclusion Center- Logan
  • Statewide campuses representative
  • The USUSA Diversity & Organizations Executive Director or a USUSA representative.
  • Other

Application Process and Eligibility

  • Applications are open year-round.
  • Only applications from USU registered student organizations, clubs, or associations will be reviewed.
  • Applicants may be contacted to provide additional information.
  • Applications must be submitted within a minimum of 30 days prior to the event or program.
  • If a funding request exceeds $2,000 the committee will evaluate the level of impact to justify the expense.
  • Complete Application Form

Funding cannot be used for personal property (t-shirts, awards, gifts, etc.) and any additional expenses not approved by the Funding Committee.
