Bio

Jake Gunther is a professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering. He has worked and consulted on projects in the areas of pattern recognition, speech recognition and synthesis, image processing, sonar array processing, and multi-rate signal processing. Recent projects have included echo and feedback cancellation, unmixing and sub-pixel target detection in hyperspectral imagery, data fusion, channel equalization, accelerating iterative decoding of error control codes, and system characterization using spread spectrum signaling.
