Bio

Jim Arnold currently serves as an assistant professor in the Outdoor Product Design and Development program at Utah State University, as well as an advisory board member with Teton Sports.. Prior to these appointments, he served as faculty at the Oregon College of Art and Craft, the University of Oregon, the Art Institute of Portland, and The Ohio State University. His professional industry experience includes design and research in the athletic footwear, automotive, recreational boat, and healthcare industries. A few of his previous clients include: Sea Ray Boats, Pride Mobility, Magna Automotive, Nike, and Kogalla. He has managed the design efforts for numerous successful products from concept to production and continues to contribute to the development of innovative outdoor products with an emphasis on hard and soft goods design.
