Bio

Dr. Julie Young's research focuses on behavior, ecology, and management of mammals. Her research has previously used both wild and captive carnivore populations to understand and reduce human-wildlife conflicts. She continues to work with wild carnviores and other wild mammals, including work on translocations of beavers. She is an Associate Professor in the Department of Wildland Resources at Utah State University.
