Bio

Dr. Justin Julander works for the Institute for Antiviral Research as an associate research professor. He received his B.S. in microbiology from Weber State University in 1999 and his Ph.D. in antiviral research from Utah State University in 2005, where he was immediately hired on. In 2017, he was named the Graduate Research Mentor of the Year in the Animal, Dairy, and Veterinary Sciences department. He has published numerous articles focusing on antiviral research — such as the Zika virus, influenza, and S and has multiple highlighted articles featured in Elsevier.
