2024-2025 Single Student Housing Waitlist
Students signing up for 2024-2025 housing may add their names to the Waitlist. This is a general on-campus housing waitlist for those who have not already signed up.
Email offers will be sent beginning May 1, according to availability, on Mondays and Wednesdays to the email address provided through the waitlist form.

Building/Room Change Process
Students with 2024-2025 contracts are able to make building/room changes from May 2 to August 16, according to availability. Learn more by visiting the Room Change Instructions page. 

2025-2026 Sign-up Timeline Change
The 2025-2026 Housing Contract Sign-up Timeline has changed and will now begin December 1 instead of October 1 as previously planned. Learn more on the Process page.

  Important Dates & Events

May 6-13: Steam Week (All Dining Closed)
USU's annual Steam Week, involving required annual maintenance to hot water and steam systems, will take place Monday, May 6 through Monday, May 13. During this time, all USU Dining locations will be closed.

May 27: Memorial Day
Utah State University will be closed on Monday, May 27, for Memorial Day.

Part One December 1, 2024 - February 14, 2025 Sign contract with same-day building selection

2025-26 Current Resident Sign-Up Timeline

For students who currently live on campus and wish to live on campus again fall 2025.

Part One February 13, 2025 Request a housing application
Complete a short Qualtrics form
with basic information.
Based on a first-come, first-served
basis and is limited to the first 800 students.
Part Two  February 18 Same-room retention sig-ups
(those who want to keep their
same space for the 2025-2026 academic year)
Part Two 
(continued)		 February 19-20 New room selection/ sign-ups

new building, room or bed space

Contract process begins December 1. Beginning December 1, sign contract with building selection. Beginning February 15, sign contract with assured space on campus. Waitlist process begins April 1. From April 8-17, residents who previously chose a building will choose a room and bedspace within that building. Following this selection phsae, those who signed up after Feb. 15 will chose their building, room and bed space. The contract canellation date with a full $200 security deposit refund is April 15. Beginning May 1, spaces will offered to those on the waitlist according to availability.
